150 Days for Spiezio…The former Cards utility-man was in town Friday night to throw out a ceremonial first pitch and shared¬†about his sobriety and how he’s been getting his life back on track.

Jason Motte to be Activated…The right-hander came into St. Louis for a charity event, but he’ll be back on the active roster Tuesday. Mike Matheny discussed what role we might see the former closer in.

Bittersweet Return for Garcia…With the exception of two batters, Jaime Garcia handled the Atlanta Braves in his first start of the 2014 season.

Matheny on Ejection…Speaking of the Cardinal manager, tempers flared as both he and Peter Bourjos were ejected from Friday’s game. Afterwards, Matheny explained why he was so upset.

Miller Back on Pace…Shelby Miller delivered his longest outing of the season on Saturday, changing up his mechanics to help the Cardinals win 4-1.

La Russa Hired by Arizona…On Friday, he delivered the commencement address at Washington University. On Saturday, Tony was introduced as the new Chief Baseball Officer with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
