Kozma Stays on 25-Man

The St. Louis Cardinals have announced their Opening Day roster and infielder Pete Kozma is among the 25-man squad as Mark Ellis joins Jaime Garcia and Jason Motte on the disabled list.

Ellis has been battling tendinitis in his left knee and the move is retroactive to March 27th. Garcia is still recovering from shoulder surgery and Motte is nearing his return from Tommy John surgery. Both of those DL moves are retroactive to March 21st.

The Cardinals also purchased the contract of non-roster invitee Pat Neshek.
