Fall League Title Game

If the cold temperatures are making you long even more for some sunshine and baseball, you can get a temporary fix on Saturday afternoon as the Peoria Javelinas take on the Salt River Rafters for the Arizona Fall League Championship. First pitch is set for 2:08pm CT and will be broadcast on MLB Network.

Peoria features a number for St. Louis Cardinals prospects–including Cody Stanley (DH) and Jacob Wilson (2B), who will be in the starting lineup.

Pitchers Mitch Harris, Tyrell Jenkins, Chris Perry, and Sam Tuivailala, infielder Breyvic Valera, and outfielder C.J. McElroy are also on the roster for the Javelinas.

Tuivailala, who was a September call-up with St. Louis, led the Fall League with five saves. Springfield (AA) pitching coach Jason Simontacchi is filling the same role for the Javelinas.
