With the close of the home portion of the regular season, the St. Louis Cardinals announced they drew an attendance of 3,540,649 fans for 2014, which trails on 2007 for the most in franchise history.
The Cardinals averaged 43,712 in attendance each game and did not drop below 40,000 for any game. It is the 18th time in franchise history over 3 million fans have gone through the turnstiles and 11th consecutive season of doing so.
St. Louis finished the regular season with a record of 51-30 at Busch Stadium, the third straight year with at least 50 wins in the ballpark.
